Being back at school feels better, more natural, than being at home. Just walking around Morningside Heights made me happier than I felt during 4 weeks at home; maybe the home-happiness is a different thing altogether from the city-happiness and school-happiness, but something about this resonates more deeply with me ( Read more... )

Ok, I know the suburbs are nice and all, but seriously guys, I need to get out of here. They are a nice place in which to grow up... and then leave.
